As a key driver of our organizational culture and employee experience, the Assistant People & Culture Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping a high-performance, values-driven workplace. This role blends strategic HR leadership with hands-on execution across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Support the development and execution of people strategies that enhance engagement, performance, and alignment with company goals.
Oversee recruitment, manpower planning, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee engagement activities.
Manage all aspects of the performance management system—from design to execution and evaluation—ensuring fairness, accountability, and growth.
Foster a high-performance culture rooted in core values, while driving achievement of annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Prepare full sets of monthly payroll for all employees and handle payroll-related queries from employees with professionalism and confidentiality.
Ensure full compliance with Malaysian employment laws and internal policies, upholding integrity and trust.
Lead initiatives to monitor and enhance employee satisfaction through surveys, feedback channels, and action plans.
Maintain ISO-compliant training records and coordinate training programs, including ESG-related sessions.
Handle disciplinary matters, provide policy guidance, and support healthy employee relations.
Maintain accurate records for leave, medical claims, and group insurance, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
Build strong working relationships with superiors, colleagues, HODs, and external partners.
Participate in all assigned People & Culture tasks with professionalism, confidentiality, and timely updates to reporting superiors.
Respond to ad-hoc requests and contribute flexibly to evolving HR needs.
Remark : This role offers a clear pathway to becoming a People & Culture Manager, typically within 2–4 years, based on performance, leadership capability, and strategic contribution.
Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a managerial or supervisory capacity with a strong focus on strategic excellence.
Demonstrates trustworthiness and reliability with a strong sense of integrity.
Exhibits the ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors.
Possesses strong organizational and time-management skills.
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
Proficiency in using AI tools such as ChatGPT / Copilot / Gemini / DeepSeek.
Strong skills in data entry, analysis, reporting frameworks, and bookkeeping.
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Canva.
Holds at least a degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or Management.
Owns a car and is able to travel within the Klang Valley.
Proven working experience as an Senior HR role or in similar roles.
