Shift Charge Technician (Start ASAP)

Join Malakoff Utilities as a Shift Charge Technician to perform field work, equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensure safety compliance in Kuala Lumpur.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include :

• Execute hands‑on field work and local monitoring using automation systems like SCADA, BAS, and GE Hydran to align plant operations with company procedures.
• Conduct daily routine checklists and inspections on equipment to ensure plant availability and smooth operation.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment and process problems to maintain uninterrupted plant availability.
• Perform equipment and system isolation and normalization safely under authorization.
• Complete customer tasks assigned by the CSA through SAP notifications and work orders, including meter installation, inspection, replacement, disconnections, reconnections, special readings, and complaint handling.
• Ensure safety compliance for all activities, including those by internal and external contractors and vendors.
• Support 5S activities and participate in internal and external audits such as QHSE, ERM, and GIA.
• Report equipment defects, safety concerns, and operational difficulties promptly to superiors.
• Accurately compile billing data from the revenue Automated Meter Reading (AMR) system in a timely manner.
• Promote an effective Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) culture aligned with company requirements.
