Team Description

Within the function, the Talent Acquisition team leads full‑cycle recruitment across all departments, with a strong focus on building scalable, AI‑enabled processes that support rapid growth and operational excellence.
The Role
The Talent Acquisition Executive (Tech) will play a key role in driving hiring across Engineering, Product and Data roles for the ASEAN region. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes, collaborate closely with hiring managers and deliver high‑quality talent pipelines across Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked both in‑house and in agency environments, understands technical hiring deeply and embraces the use of AI tools to enhance sourcing, assessment and communication workflows.
What you will be working on
- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for Product, Engineering and Data roles across ASEAN markets
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand requirements, shape job briefs and define sourcing strategies
- Use a combination of direct sourcing, networking and technology tools to identify and engage top talent
- Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline sourcing, candidate communication and data management
- Evaluate technical candidates for skill fit, motivation and culture alignment
- Manage the candidate experience from first touchpoint to offer stage, ensuring transparency and engagement throughout
- Collaborate with regional People & Talent teams to align processes, share insights and deliver consistent results
- Build and maintain market intelligence on tech talent trends, compensation benchmarks and competitor activity
- Track recruitment metrics and maintain accurate reporting within the ATS
- Support employer branding and outreach initiatives to strengthen Wego’s visibility across regional tech markets
