Job description

The Waterfront Shoppes of The Light City is the highlight of the masterplan. As we grow, we’re seeking people to join our team and be part of this exciting retail project.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the security team, ensuring all security personnel are performing their duties effectively and efficiently.
  • Monitor and enforce security protocols, including access control, surveillance, emergency procedures, and safety compliance within the mall.
  • Conduct regular patrols to inspect the premises, identify potential security risks, and address any issues promptly.
  • Manage and report incidents, including theft, vandalism, and accidents.
  • Oversee the operation of CCTV cameras, alarms, and other security systems, ensuring their proper functioning at all times.
  • Respond to emergencies or any other situations requiring immediate attention.
  • Coordinate with mall management, local law enforcement, and emergency services during incidents or when additional support is needed.
  • Ensure a visible security presence to deter criminal activities and maintain a safe environment for all mall visitors and employees.
  • Assist in crowd control during peak hours or special events and ensure compliance with mall policies and regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma / SPM or equivalent (further education or certifications in security is a plus).
  • Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Physical fitness and ability to handle various security tasks.
  • Knowledge of security systems and technology.
