What will you do?

In this position, you will join our Buildings business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that “bring ideas to life” for our clients across all types of projects. We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it is the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to “bring ideas to life”.

• Lead and deliver mechanical design packages from concept through detailed design, documentation, and construction support for building services projects.
• Prepare technical specifications, design reports, calculations, and cost estimates aligned with project requirements and industry standards.
• Apply design-led thinking and digital engineering tools to develop efficient, sustainable, and innovative mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, structural engineers, and other building services disciplines.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and workshops to ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers within the team.
• Support tender preparation, fee proposals, and business development activities.
• Ensure compliance with local and international codes, standards, and regulations.
• Use BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM360) to develop and review 3D models, identify coordination issues, and drive resolution.
• Contribute to Aurecon’s culture of innovation, sustainability, and digital excellence.
