Requirements
Eligibility and Qualifications
- Must be a Malaysian citizen.
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Law with Honors recognised by the Government, from a local institution of higher learning or equivalent qualification.
- Attained at least a credits (B) in Bahasa Malaysia and English (including oral examination) at SPM level or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Highly proficient in computer application, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload, and work independently.
- Demonstrate high integrity, responsibility, professionalism and confidentiality in all tasks.
- Proactive, dynamic, adaptable to change, and able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must have a legitimate legal interest in the outcome of any case handled.
Job Requirements and Responsibilities
Assist in the drafting, reviewing, and vetting of MoU / MoA, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with institutional and legal requirements.Provide legal advice and support to the management and relevant departments on matters relating to contracts and collaborations.Ensure all legal documentation and procedures are in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.Conduct legal research and remain updated on current laws, policies, and best practices relevant to institutional agreements.Manage administrative operations related to legal documentation, including records management, filing systems, and correspondence.Liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the review, approval, and execution of agreements.Assist in interpreting and translating legislative or policy requirements into clear, actionable legal frameworks.Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality in all legal matters.Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound legal judgments.Any other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.Desired Attributes
