Read, research and interpret financial reporting and auditing standards, and develop technically sound recommendations, guidance notes, and reference documents for financial reporting and auditing practices as internal reference.
Plan, manage, and conduct internal training / briefing.
Perform technical administrative work in respect of compliance matters and relationships with regulators such as the AOB, PCAOB, MIA, and MICPA.
Ability to conduct technical training for audit team members.
Job Requirement :
A recognized Degree in Accounting or equivalent (e.g., Professional Accountancy Qualification).
Good technical knowledge in accounting, auditing, and financial reporting.
At least 5 years’ experience gained in a medium-sized professional accounting practice OR at least 3 years’ experience gained in a Big Four firm, with a minimum of 1.5 most current years spent in an audit technical and training department.
Strong analytical and leadership qualities with a high degree of technical competence.
Prior experience in conducting / assisting in the conduct of trainings and seminars will be advantageous.
Demonstrated ability or experience in supporting technical, training, and compliance-related work under the leadership of a technical superior.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Good communication and report writing skills.
Dedicated, result-oriented, and positive attitude.
