Job Purpose : The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide deep domain expertise in healthcare insurance operations, ensuring process accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role involves guiding teams, validating deliverables, and driving continuous improvement initiatives aligned with global standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary knowledge authority for process workflows, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Provide expert advice to internal teams and stakeholders on process-related queries and escalations.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational standards across all process deliverables.Validate documentation, training materials, and operational guidelines for accuracy and completeness.Training & Knowledge Management
Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives for new hires and existing staff.Maintain updated process manuals and SOPs in line with best practices.Identify gaps and opportunities for process optimization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and automation strategies.Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with leadership, IT, and operations teams to define objectives and ensure smooth project execution.Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate system / process changes before rollout.Required Skills & Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field. (SPM and Diploma holder with more than 4 years of relevant working experience may be considered.)Experience : Minimum 4–6 years in healthcare insurance or related processes.Proven track record as a Subject Matter Expert in process management or operations.Technical Skills : Familiarity with healthcare insurance systems and compliance frameworks.Proficiency in MS Office and workflow management tools.Soft Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Certifications
