Talk to us today and learn your true capabilities in an energetic company where you will develop and thrive, the Efficiency Company – NexperiaAs a Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring reliability stress tests in support of new product qualifications, technology changes, and customer requirements. This includes ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., JEDEC, AEC-Q100), driving root cause analysis for reliability failures, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across product, test, and failure analysis engineering.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Plan and execute
- reliability qualification tests
- including HTOL, uHAST, THB, TMCL, ELFR, PC, and other JEDEC / AEC stress methodologies.
- Define
- test conditions, sample size, and duration
- based on applicable standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Interface with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product Engineering, QA, FA, Test, Manufacturing) to
- coordinate qualification activities
- and resolve issues.
- Monitor reliability chambers
- , equipment calibration status, and ensure proper lot traceability and test integrity throughout the qualification cycle.
- Analyze test results using
- statistical tools
- (e.g., Weibull, Minitab, JMP) and compile comprehensive
- technical reports
- Support
- failure analysis investigations
- and contribute to root cause finding for reliability-related failures.
- Maintain
- test execution tracking systems
- and ensure data accuracy for reporting and audit readiness.
- Drive
- continuous improvement initiatives
- to reduce cycle time, enhance test coverage, and increase lab throughput.
- Participate in
- DFR reviews and P-FMEA discussions
- , contributing to early reliability risk identification.
- Ensure alignment with
- quality management systems
- such as ISO / IEC 17025 and IATF 16949.
- JOB SPECIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical / Electronic Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in reliability engineering, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
- Hands-on experience in reliability test execution, qualification planning, and issue debugging.
- Knowledge of reliability failure modes, risk assessment, and process reliability impact.
- Experience with ISO / IEC 17025 and / or IATF 16949 is a plus.
- SKILLS / COMPETENCIES
- Hard Competencies :
- Proficient in reliability test planning, data analysis, and reporting.
- Familiarity with JEDEC / AEC standards and qualification matrix development.
- Experienced in statistical analysis tools (JMP, Origin, Minitab, Excel).
- Familiar with C+++ programming, I2C, Matlab, Phyton and etc.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor packaging, assembly, and device physics.
- Knowledge in reliability stress test methodologies and chamber operation.
- Soft Skills :
- Analytical with risk-based thinking and problem-solving mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Team playerwith good initiative and ability to work independently.
- Familiar with quality systems and audit processes.
