BARTENDER
Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team.
About The Job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur / within the Food & Beverage Department in Kuala Lumpur, the Bartender is the first colleague to interact with arriving guests as they enter the restaurant and welcoming the guests by greeting them as per the standards. The Bartender reports to the Restaurant Manager.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining the highest standard of service for the Restaurant, Bar and Poolside area as established by the hotel and are accountable for the day-to-day operational efficiency of the area.
- Ensure effective implementation of the IMS policy and procedures.
- Attend to guest requests and complaints, efficiently and courteously.
- Ensure that the orders are delivered at the proper temperature.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of the contents of all the menus and the composition of each item.
- Ensure all tables are set up correctly and in a timely manner.
- Provide feedback to Manager / Assistant Manager on guests’ complaints.
- Show a positive, energetic and caring attitude always towards guests and fellow colleagues.
- Participate in multi-skilling training.
Qualifications
Minimum SPM qualification or Hotel School would be an added advantage.Minimum 1 year of working experience in F&B Service sector.Must be able to read and create menus.Knowledge of Infrasys system.Benefits
