Job descriptionDegree holder in any discipline 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in Commercial Lines Underwriting, including a minimum of 2–3 years specializing in Property / Fire classes Mid‑Senior level Full‑time Management, General Business, and Strategy / Planning Insurance, Insurance Agencies and Brokerages, and Insurance Carriers

My client is a well-established general insurance provider in Malaysia, it offers a wide range of commercial insurance products They are currently looking for an experienced Senior Property Underwriter to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Assess risks and accept in line with underwriting authorities; Negotiate best policy terms with business units / intermediaries
- Shape Property lines underwriting policies for growth & profit
- Regularly review and update policy wordings, forms, and technical documents
- Mentor junior underwriters and support branches technically
- Contribute to new product design and launch
- Build and retain a high-caliber, efficient team
