Barista

We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Barista to join our café team at City University’s Cyberjaya campus. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of coffee preparation, be friendly and efficient, and provide an exceptional café experience to students, staff, and campus visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to standardized recipes.
• Operate coffee machines and brewing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Provide ideas on beverage menu designing to ensure it is up to trend.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the café, including equipment, countertops, and seating areas.
• Engage with customers in a friendly, helpful manner, and handle inquiries or concerns professionally.
• Restock ingredients and supplies such as cups, milk, syrups, and pastries.
• Always ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in inventory checks and notify the supervisor of low stock or maintenance needs.
• Support any special university events or promotional activities run by the café.
