Job descriptionOverall responsibility for Manufacturing activities across the business Understand technical drawings, manuals, specifications or sample part to determine the dimensions and tolerances of fabrication workpiece, sequence of operations. Set up and operate variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. Create CNC programming. (Mastercam or Cimatron software) Operate CNC Milling machine. (Fanuc, MoriSeiki & etc) Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications, using measuring and inspection tools as necessary Fabricate, modify parts to make / repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines Knowledge in parts' materials such as aluminium and / or engineering plastics. Performs routine maintenance tasks on manufacturing machines as required Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, designers, superior or others to resolve machining or fabrication problems Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner customers, co-workers, management and suppliers Adhere to safety and environmental requirements for personal safety and safe working environment. Provide clear leadership and vision, inspire and motivate staff to achieve excellence and mentor them as they develop new skills. Drive Key Performance Indicators across all areas of the Manufacturing function to ensure that all projects are delivered on cost and on time to the highest quality standards.
