Information Technology - Application Developer (Customer Services) (Malaysia)
Job Description
- Review business requirements and perform impact analysis.
- Work with IT and business units to propose IT solutions by refining specifications and requirements based on available technology. Liaise with business users and developers to refine user stories.
- Design and code using best software development practices.
- Create and maintain software documentation, including solution proposals, detailed technical design and test scripts
- Anticipate potential issues that may impact the implementation of initiatives.
- Support applications and track for prompt resolution of problems and issues.
- This is a sole contributor role.
Requirements
Possess a degree in Information Technology or related fields.At least 5 years of experience in application development.Strong analytical, communications and interpersonal skills.Experience with Java application design, solutioning (including database design) and software development.Experience with APIs, Java based Web Services (SOAP UI), Multimedia Content Development, session managementFamiliarity with continuous integration & build tools such as Ant, Maven, Gradle, etc.Knowledge in other IT technical areas (network, servers, information security, middleware and AWS) will be advantageous.Knowledge in Gen AI tools such as ChatGPT, Germini, Palo will be useful.We thank all candidates for your interest in Singapore Airlines, and regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
