SAFETY & HEALTH OFFICER

Responsibilities

• Provide advice, guidance on safety and hygiene practices at construction site.
• Responsible for development and implementation of project safety and health policy.
• Liaison with relevant safety enforcement authorities.
• Responsible for compliance to authority requirement on safety matters.
• Submit a monthly report to Project Manager on occupational health and safety at workplace.
• Conduct safety induction to all workers at site and instill safety awareness to all personnel.
• Identify high risk area and potential safety hazard.
• Construction sequence and take measures to mitigate the risk.
• Assist in the investigation of incidents occurred and submit reports to management where necessary.
• Assist any officer in carrying out his duties under the Act or any Regulations made under the Act.
