DevOps Engineer

Overview Our client, a leading bank with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America, is looking for Consultants to join the project. The Technology and Operations function comprises five teams of specialists : business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services. They collaborate to leverage technology to support physical and digital banking services and operations, including developing, centralising and standardising technology systems and banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches. Required Qualifications Degree in computer science / engineering or related disciplines. 5+ years of experience in application development and support environment. Hands-on experience in building servers from scratch and setting up clustering environments — not just end-user experience. Prepared to write a Chef cookbook or relevant scripting code during the interview to demonstrate hands-on expertise. Working experience on Unix / Windows platforms, batch scheduling tools, database query skills, and BI tools skillsets. Mandatory technical skills : Terraform, Chef, Ansible development and / or support experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills. Excellent and proven Incident / Problem Management and organizational skills are required.
