- Key Responsibilities :
- Compliance Management :
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards. Monitor changes in legislation and adjust company policies accordingly.
- Program Development :
- Design and implement EHS programs and policies that promote safety and environmental stewardship.
- Training and Education :
- Develop and conduct training sessions for employees on EHS practices, emergency response procedures, and workplace safety.
- Risk Assessment :
- Perform risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Incident Investigation :
- Lead investigations of workplace incidents and accidents, documenting findings and implementing preventive measures.
- Reporting :
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports and documentation as required. Track EHS performance metrics and prepare management reports.
- Collaboration :
- Work closely with department heads to promote a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization.
- Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in EHS management or a related role.
- Knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
