• Key Responsibilities :
• Compliance Management :
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards. Monitor changes in legislation and adjust company policies accordingly.
• Program Development :
• Design and implement EHS programs and policies that promote safety and environmental stewardship.
• Training and Education :
• Develop and conduct training sessions for employees on EHS practices, emergency response procedures, and workplace safety.
• Risk Assessment :
• Perform risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Incident Investigation :
• Lead investigations of workplace incidents and accidents, documenting findings and implementing preventive measures.
• Reporting :
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports and documentation as required. Track EHS performance metrics and prepare management reports.
• Collaboration :
• Work closely with department heads to promote a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization.
• Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in EHS management or a related role.
• Knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
