Production Area Leader Banner & Pocket

Job Description

The Production Area Leader plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the Banner & Pocket production area. This position is fully accountable for safety, daily operations, and continuous improvement, while also contributing to strategic planning, workforce development, and quality enhancement. The leader acts as a key liaison between shopfloor teams and support functions, driving performance and fostering a culture of excellence.

Daily Operations

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and inspection protocols.
• Lead SAT4 meetings for Curing & OB issues and escalate to relevant departments.
• Monitor and report daily GT stock inventory.
• Enforce discipline and manage daily manning arrangements.
• Ensure smooth execution of production plans; revise programs as needed.
• Lead shopfloor issue resolution for Curing & OB.
• Coordinate with Engineering during breakdowns and prioritize repairs.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Manufacturing with minimum 5 years experience ORBachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Manufacturing with minimum 3 years experience.

Preferably have experience in managing Shopfloor employees.

Fluent in Malay and English
