• KEY ACCOUNTABILITES
• Design, conduct, and lead agronomic trials focused on nutrition, fertilizer, moisture, and soil studies.
• Detect and diagnose nutrient deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Identify soil nutritional levels for crop optimization.
• Analyze data and produce technical reports and recommendations.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies for irrigation and soil improvement.
• Plan and manage fertilizer application trials and agronomic evaluations for pest and disease management.
• Conduct feasibility studies for irrigation / fertigation systems in nurseries and field blocks.
• Design and implement hydraulic systems, including pipe routing, pump selection, and filtration systems.
• Advise planters or estate operation to make proper irrigation layout and management for various type of crops.
• Execute multi-location trials on fertilizer efficiency, organic amendments, and nutrient recycling (e.g., EFB, POME).## ## QUALIFICATION AND WORKING EXPERIENCES
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Agronomy or Soil Science or Agricultural Engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience in agronomic research, especially in oil palm or plantation crops.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Practical knowledge of irrigation, fertigation, and soil-water management systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in field and research environments.##
• TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Proficient in MS Offices, Statistical Analysis.Have an ability to propose irrigation layout using manual or related software.##
