JOB PURPOSE

The Assistant Manager, Business Development (B2C) - Southern Region is responsible for supporting the Business Development for Johor & Melaka of Taylor's Higher Education (Taylor's University and Taylor's College). He / she is responsible to assess, plan and develop opportunities, including the development and implementation of long term and annual plans for student recruitment in alignment with goals and targets set at the Taylor’s College and Taylor’s University. He / she accountable for achieving the team sales targets, which supports Taylor's University and Taylor's College sales targets, by driving the team Sales Pipeline (Lead, Contact, Appointment, Visit, Enrolment and Registration).

KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES

GrowEnrolment

Responsible for National Sales (New Local & Transfer Market) assigned to region, inclusive of supporting other sales department if needed.

Accountable for managing team’s performance in achieving team National and Regional Sales Target and Growth by annual and cycle. Target includes Student Registration.

Provide comprehensive advice, guidance and information, such as admissions requirements, tuition fees, scholarship and accommodation to prospective and existing students and parents of Taylor's Higher Education.

Follow up with prospective students and parents for sales conversion via various channels.

Support enrolment-related events and activities which include Open Days, Enrolment Days and other events organized to attract prospective students.

Support market intelligence and information gathering of competitors' offerings.

Wow Student Experience

Ensure that excellent customer service is provided at all times to new prospective students and parents through all channels.

Ensure timely responses to all enrolment-related requests byprospective students and parents.

Manage stock inventory and maintenance of the promotional materials and merchandises of Taylor’s Higher Education for the team.

Cost Leadership

Support in optimizing the Sales Cost of Acquisition through improving process efficiency and productivity of the team.

Assist in producing relevant report as requested by the Manager.

High Performance Organization

Manage and cultivate sales-driven culture within the team.

Ensure technological adoption for the team to achieve the sales target.

Coordinate meetings, staffing requirements and staff briefings.

School Marketing in Chinese Independent Schools (UEC)

Support marketing strategy implementation for the UEC market across Southern and Melaka.

Maintain good relationships with schools through PR activities (e.g., sponsorships, advertising).

Assist with the budget monitoring of marketing and recruitment activities.

Liaise with stakeholders for event and resource coordination.

Support operations of the regional office.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

Degree in Business Management / Marketing / International Business or other management-related discipline.

Related Experience

At least three (3) years of working experience in education environment is preferred.

Business development and account management experience in the education environment is preferred.

Experience in regional sales execution or school engagement would be an added advantage.

• Potential to lead a growing team of 2 as the function scales

Knowledge and skills in using computer software. E.g. Microsoft software applications.
