Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily cleaning and housekeeping operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort in all areas of the establishment. This role ensures that all housekeeping activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
• Assign tasks and schedule shifts for housekeeping personnel.
• Train new staff and monitor ongoing performance to maintain service quality.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Handle guest complaints and requests in a professional manner.
• Prepare housekeeping reports and maintain relevant records.
