Your day at NTT DATA

As a Senior Associate Security Technical Architect at NTT DATA, you\'ll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design robust security architectures for our systems, applications, and infrastructure. Your role is crucial for ensuring that our technology solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with industry best practices, thereby protecting sensitive DATA and mitigating risks.

Your expertise will be called upon to design and develop comprehensive security architectures that cater to both current and future needs. You will integrate security requirements into the system design and development lifecycle, collaborating with stakeholders such as developers, engineers, and project managers to embed security seamlessly into our operations.

You\'ll provide pre-sales technical support and expertise in analyzing client requirements, leveraging your knowledge in secure coding practices, network security, identity and access management, and DATA protection. You\'ll also assist in selecting and evaluating security technologies, ensuring that our solutions meet clients\' objectives and industry regulations.

In addition, you will define and implement security policies, standards, and procedures to maintain compliance and support incident response activities alongside the incident response team. Your responsibilities will include creating technical design documents that match solution design specifications and participating in scope of work determination, product pricing, and RFP / RFI responses.

You will manage client proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives, oversee the transition of proposed solutions to the delivery team, and ensure the accuracy of proposals. This role involves extensive client engagement, where you will act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales and implementation processes.

To thrive in this role, you need to have :

• Comprehensive knowledge of security domains such as network security, application security, cloud security, DATA protection, identity and access management, cryptography, and secure coding practices.
• Extensive understanding of vendor products, business, and technology positioning.
• Proficiency in enterprise architecture principles and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
• Understanding of security regulations, standards, and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI dSS) and their practical application.
• Previous experience as a Security Technical Architect or similar role, with hands-on experience in security technologies and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of assessing risks and analysing complex security issues.
• Good client engagement skills with a technical consulting mindset.
• Collaborative and effective communication skills within a team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
