Senior Database Administrator

Good knowledge on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing PostgreSQL databases in Azure cloud environments, ensuring smooth operation and functionality to meet business goals.
• Resolving production data issues as per given SLA timeline to avoid major incidents.
• Familiar with creating database objects (triggers, indexes, etc.)
• Providing best practice guidance to the development / application / stake holders.
• Database migrations between cross platforms (Oracle, MS SQL and DB2) into multi‑cloud (Azure, AWS and GCP) PostgreSQL database technology.
• Ensuring data integrity and managing user access and permissions as per the organization standards.
• Supports all company initiatives, policies, operating procedures and processes; maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• High flexibility in working extended hours and able to support beyond official working hours as and when required.
