We are seeking a Business Development Assistant to join our Asia team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a newly created role that will provide vital support to the firm’s growth across the Asia region.

As a Business Development Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the execution of business development initiatives by assisting with market research, data analysis, and the coordination of business development operations across Asia.

You will work closely with Business Development colleagues across the region and collaborate with Practice Group Leaders, Principals, attorneys, and the Marketing team throughout the Asia-Pacific to drive the firm’s growth initiatives.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who is motivated to build a career in business development within a professional services environment. You will have the opportunity to learn how to strengthen the firm’s market position, contribute to winning new work, and support the development of strong client relationships.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in the development of client-facing materials, including capability statements, proposals, presentations, and responses to RfPs and government tenders.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of international conferences, client visits, and related events.
• Conduct market, client, and competitor research to support new business opportunities and strategic planning.
• Monitor industry data and trends to provide insights that inform business development strategies.
• Maintain and update business development tools, including CRM systems, marketing databases, and reporting templates.
• Assist with internal reporting, including tracking KPIs for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business development colleagues across the Asia-Pacific region to support cross-border initiatives.
• Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Asia Business Development team.
