Junior Account Executive

Job Responsibilities

• Accountable to handle a full set of accounts, month-end closing and monthly management reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of company accounts in compliance with governing standards and regulations.
• Ensure completeness of documents in accordance with internal guidelines and policy for audit purposes.
• Support superiors in managing, organizing and allocating month‑end tasks.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness and generating reliable reporting.
• Prepare and ensure reconciliation schedules are properly prepared.
• Responsible for preparing payment vouchers, debit notes, credit notes and journals for immediate superior / manager to verify.
• Monitor and maintain adequate cash flow and ensure cash book is updated.
• Assist to liaise with company secretary, auditor, bankers, suppliers, and authorities on all finance‑related matters.
• Responsibilities include closing of monthly accounts and submissions of reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain proper accounting records and filing system.
• Process urgent requests upon request.
• Perform all other related assignments / projects as assigned by the superior from time to time.
