Solid knowledge of Linux / Unix scripting and deployment automation. Experience in Life Insurance systems (LifeAsia, Ingenium, or similar). Familiar with Spring Boot, microservices, or Docker / Kubernetes. IT Analyst Tech Engage @ Etiqa Insurance and Takaful
We’re hiring an experienced Senior Oracle Java Developer to join our team supporting a mission‑critical Life Insurance Core System. This role combines enterprise Java development with Oracle middleware administration, including WebLogic Server, Oracle Access Manager (OAM), and Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) — plus modern DevOps using GitHub Actions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise Java EE applications running on Oracle WebLogic.
- Configure and manage WebLogic domains, clusters, JDBC / JMS, SSL, and deployments.
- Integrate OAM for secure authentication and SSO.
- Develop BI Publisher reports and manage report templates models.
- Automate builds, testing, and deployments using GitHub Actions workflows.
- Troubleshoot and optimize system performance across WebLogic, OAM, and database layers.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, DBA, and business teams to ensure stability and compliance.
