Regional Compensation and Benefits Specialist

The Regional SEA Compensation Specialist will drive compensation strategy, sales incentive programs, and reward frameworks across multiple SEA markets. This role ensures competitive, compliant, and motivating reward schemes for all employees, with a strong focus on sales performance incentives, aligned with business goals. The Specialist partners closely with local HR, finance, and business leaders to deliver effective and market‑aligned compensation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage sales incentive schemes for FMCG Non‑Food teams (e.g., Key Account, Area Sales, Sales Executives, Promoter).
- Ensure incentive programs drive desired sales behaviors, align with KPIs, and are market competitive.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to adjust incentive structures where necessary.
- Partner with Finance & Sales Leadership to ensure accurate and timely incentive calculations and payouts.
- Ensure incentive programs comply with local labor laws and tax regulations across SEA countries.
- Conduct regular market benchmarking of base salaries, allowances, and incentives for each SEA country.
- Propose competitive and cost‑effective compensation structures aligned with company strategy.
- Maintain updated salary bands, role grades, and market positioning per country.
- Develop and implement total rewards policies across SEA countries.
- Partner with local HR to ensure compliance with statutory regulations (employment, tax, social security).
- Maintain clear documentation of compensation processes, approvals, and workflows.
- Provide monthly / quarterly reports on incentive payouts, sales performance, and cost of sales incentives.
- Analyze trends to recommend adjustments or improvements to incentive schemes.
- Support annual bonus and variable pay calibration exercises.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.5+ years experience in Compensation & Benefits / Total Rewards in FMCG or Sales‑driven organizations.Experience designing sales incentive schemes and variable pay programs.Strong understanding of labor laws, statutory requirements, and tax implications across SEA countries.Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel / HRIS tools.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across cultures.Seniority Level
