Recovery Officer

Overview

Recovery Officer at OCBC. You will help customers manage their debt and develop personalized plans to help them recover financial stability, while minimizing risk for the bank. This is a customer-centric role requiring empathy, strong communication, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Drive recovery efforts for written-off accounts.
• Achieve performance targets across key indicators : delinquencies, recoveries, contact attempts, PTP kept, and dollar collected.
• Submit reports within deadlines and maintain compliance with credit policies, BNM guidelines, and internal controls.
• Implement effective collection strategies to accelerate recovery outcomes. Identify cases to be outsourced to Collection Agencies promptly.
• Ensure timely updates of agency status on collection accounts in the Debt Management (DM) system.
