Senior Production Planner & Scheduler

Overview

Job Description :

• Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing inventory levels.
• Analyze demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory levels to develop achievable production plans and schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to gather input, resolve issues, and align production schedules with business objectives.
• Monitor production performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Lead and mentor a team of production planners and schedulers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster professional development and growth.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components to support production schedules.
• Communicate production schedules, updates, and changes to stakeholders, including production teams, management, and customers.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance with product specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
• Prepare and present production reports, presentations, and analysis to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management
• Assist in any tasks as instructed by your superior and / or management of AESB from time to time
