Procurement Manager

Concentrix – Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Key Responsibilities

  • IT and Non-IT Sourcing and negotiation
  • Contract management
  • Achieving Annual CTO / Savings targets
  • Meet organization code of conduct and compliance with Procurement policy
  • Develop strong process and build team to manage procurement with world‑class standards

Job Description / Key Skills

  • Good knowledge of Procurement Global Best Practices
  • Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager or Procurement Officer
  • Effective communication skills, knowledge of local language(s) is a plus
  • Experience of managing Procurement activities in ASEAN region
  • Good knowledge / exposure of ERP(s) or Procure to Pay tools
  • Vendor Management : discover strong suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships, maintain relationships, periodic supplier evaluation
  • Negotiation skills : ability to negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
  • Order Management : finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries, ensuring best practices
  • Contract Management : knowledge of agreement terms, examine and test existing contracts; perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
  • Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
  • Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
  • Control spend and build a culture of long‑term saving on procurement costs
  • Aptitude in decision‑making and working with numbers, experience in collecting and analysing data
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree with an MBA preferred
  • Any specialization / certification in Procurement & Supply chain management an added advantage
  • Profiles and Attributes

  • Overall experience of 10+ years
  • Any Bachelor’s Degree and an MBA preferred
  • Exposure to corporate presentation, data analysis, spend analytics an added advantage
  • Must possess good Excel & PowerPoint knowledge
  • Any specialization / Certification in Procurement & Supply chain management an added advantage
