Job descriptionGood knowledge of Procurement Global Best Practices Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager or Procurement Officer Effective communication skills, knowledge of local language(s) is a plus Experience of managing Procurement activities in ASEAN region Good knowledge / exposure of ERP(s) or Procure to Pay tools Vendor Management : discover strong suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships, maintain relationships, periodic supplier evaluation Negotiation skills : ability to negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms Order Management : finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries, ensuring best practices Contract Management : knowledge of agreement terms, examine and test existing contracts; perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies Control spend and build a culture of long‑term saving on procurement costs Aptitude in decision‑making and working with numbers, experience in collecting and analysing data Strong leadership capabilities Bachelor’s Degree with an MBA preferred Any specialization / certification in Procurement & Supply chain management an added advantage Overall experience of 10+ years Any Bachelor’s Degree and an MBA preferred Exposure to corporate presentation, data analysis, spend analytics an added advantage Must possess good Excel & PowerPoint knowledge Any specialization / Certification in Procurement & Supply chain management an added advantage
