Role & Responsibilities
- Record keeping : Maintain accurate records and perform periodic position reconciliation of holdings, ensuring accuracy and completeness of internal datasets, investigating and resolving discrepancies timely.
- Onboarding of mutual funds : Coordinate distribution agreements, account openings, annual AML / DDQ reviews to ensure operational readiness for funds trading.
- Data maintenance : Have strong understanding of funds data and ability to maintain up‑to‑date funds instrument data within given SLAs.
- Fee collection and trailer rebates : Ensure accuracy and timeliness in fee collection and trailer rebate distributions. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
- Corporate actions : Understand treatment of different corporate actions on fund entity, taking necessary actions on platform as needed and notifying clients in a timely manner.
- Reporting : Provide monthly reports for relevant stakeholders.
- Risk management : Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to implement enhancements that increase efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Roles and responsibilities may change from time to time, along with the company’s operational processes and strategic direction.
Skills Required
Bachelor degree, 2–4 years working experience in an investment operations role within the finance industry.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with complex formulas, pivot tables, and large datasets.Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.Knowledge of mutual funds including prior hands‑on experience is a strong advantage.Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of fintech or financial service spaces.Great communication skills and attitude. You will interact with both internal and external stakeholders each day via different channels (phone, email, chat).Strong emphasis on being organized, adaptable and having great attention to detail. You will face new challenges on a daily basis, and we want to hire someone who has the intellect and drive to work through and adapt to changes.Being a team player is key.
