Role Description

This is a contract, on‑site role for a GTC Tax Analyst based in Kuala Lumpur. The GTC Tax Analyst will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax filings, assisting with tax compliance, and supporting tax‑related audits. Day‑to‑day tasks also involve analyzing financial data, researching tax regulations, and creating detailed tax reports. Collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders is a key part of this role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of tax laws, tax compliance, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in financial analysis, data interpretation, and problem‑solving
• Familiarity with tax software and other accounting tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with teams and stakeholders
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Relevant experience in tax analysis or the financial sector
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in oil, gas, or petrochemical industries is an advantage
