Senior Software Engineer (AI)

This job is for a Senior Software Engineer (AI) focused on creating advanced customer service software. Responsible for designing and developing software products that enable omni-channel Customer Contact Center solutions and AI-powered capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand diverse use cases, translate them into technical specifications, and engineer scalable, high-quality solutions. This includes end-to-end development—from system design and build to rigorous testing and validation—to ensure the final product meets both functional and quality standards. Build cutting-edge technology that provides a unique value proposition allowing it to become a leader in the market. Ensure timely development of proof of concepts, and prototypes prioritizing time to market with MVP features. Utilize Agile and Lean techniques to deliver key features quickly. Continuously research new technical capability and solutions for adoption. Build configurations on AWS Connect based on agreed specifications. Document and elaborate on the technical design and building of the completed product. Provide production support for the platform, perform triage and troubleshooting of incidents raised, and restore / fix defects identified in a timely manner. Build and integrate GenAI capability into platform and solution to build future-proof solutions. Ensure the application / platform built is scalable and maintainable at a multi-tenant / international enterprise production level. Job Requirements

Solid know-how of AWS technology stacks and services; familiarity with other cloud providers and technologies is a plus. 5 years of experience with

Node.js

and

React . Proven experience building applications using various AWS services such as

Connect ,

S3 ,

SQS ,

SNS ,

API Gateway ,

EC2 ,

Lambda ,

AppSync ,

Kinesis ,

Lex ,

Polly , and

Transcribe . Possessing certifications like

AWS Solutions Architect

or equivalent is an advantage. Knowledge of

WebRTC

is a plus. Familiar with NoSQL databases such as

MongoDB

and

DynamoDB . Experience with CI / CD tools such as

CloudFormation

and

Bitbucket Pipelines . Familiar with unit testing tools such as

Jest ,

Playwright , and

Cypress . Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like

Terraform . Comfortable working in

Linux-based

environments. Proficient in source code management and branching strategies using

Git , and tools like

GitHub ,

GitLab , and

Bitbucket . Working knowledge of

Agile

and / or

Lean

methodologies, and collaboration tools like

Confluence ,

JIRA , and

SharePoint . Demonstrated exceptional

written and verbal communication

skills. General knowledge of

GenAI

concepts (e.g., context, tokens, completions); prior experience with GenAI projects, including mini or proof-of-concept projects, is a plus.
