Job descriptionBuild and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and investors Develop and negotiate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations to enhance business growth Drive customer acquisition strategies and oversee sales efforts to expand the client base. Develop pricing strategies and business models that maximize profitability Monitor sales performance and ensure achievement of revenue targets Work closely with finance and operations teams to optimize resource allocation and cost efficiencies. Lead and mentor a high-performing business development team Foster a results-driven culture focused on innovation, customer satisfaction, and market leadership Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and product development, to drive business success Assess risks associated with new business ventures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Develop strategies to mitigate potential financial and operational risks. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business development success Provide regular reports to senior management on business performance, opportunities, and challenges Continuously refine strategies based on performance data and market feedback Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or any related field More than 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic growth roles with strong network and industry knowledge in industry-specific expertise, e.g. banking, technology, healthcare, manufacturing Proven track record of securing high-value deals and expanding market reach Experience in managing and leading business development teams Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities Ability to drive results and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Proficiency in CRM tools, data analytics, and business intelligence software Understanding of revenue models, pricing strategies, and profitability Must be willing to be based in Laos One way moving allowance of RM 1,000 Working Visa cost to be borne by employer Annual leave - 15 days Medical leave - 30 days Insurance - Up to USD 10,000 (IPD) Special leave - Country of origin's National Day Working hours 8 : 00 to 17 : 30 (Monday to Friday) Transport to and from office
