Job description3 years related work experience in environment, safety and health. Related experience in the related industry is an advantage. Quality related tools. Bachelor’s Degree / Master Degree in Safety Management preferred and registered with DOSH. Able to communicate with all levels in the organization. Work with various levels of management to establish and execute processes and systems that support and reinforce management system elements. Ability to understand and apply government regulations related to hazardous materials and wastes. Good communication skills in both written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. Good command of Microsoft office. Teamwork and collaboration skills. Some travel including local state travel required. EHS Executive position requires basic knowledge in safety management and / or process safety fundamentals to support the development of HSE deliverables and technical safety studies in projects. The position reports functionally to the Senior Facilities Manager and will have the opportunity to work in a team setting within a dynamic work environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- In charge of all safety, health, environmental, fire protection and emergency response matters for the company, coordinate the quarterly 6S audit planning in production and office.
- Interpret federal, state and local regulations. Implement and supervise all EHS issues such as Fire Safety, Risk Assessment, OSHA & FMA regulations and other matters to ensure the company is in compliance with guidelines and regulations. Maintain records in accordance to appropriate standards and regulations.
- Develop appropriate strategies to meet company EHS policies and regulatory requirements.
- Host external related EHS audits.
