As a Senior Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding customer instrumentation requirements and working with engineering teams to develop a winning proposal to deliver the project. This role will take full technical responsibility for related activities and deliverables on nominated project while acting as first contact point for all technical activities within the assigned project team and providing strong support to local sales team throughout project lifecycle (from pursuit to closure).

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :

• Review project specifications and summarize technical requirement and clarifications.
• Review proposed solutions for analytical and flow measurement system applications and take it further for detail design and engineering.
• Assists the Project Manager for project technical interfaces and lead technical clarification with customers. Leads technical meetings with customers and end-users.
• Perform basic design and detailed engineering including preparation of engineering documents, data sheets, schematic, general arrangement drawing, wiring drawings and calculations in accordance with the project specifications.
• Prepare and submit engineering deliverables as per schedule with meeting Emerson quality standards.
• Preparing purchase specification and RFQ documents in accordance with project requirements for all buy out components / instruments to build functional solutions.
• Evaluate vendor’s quotations technically to ensure specification and documentation compliance.
• Provide support during assembly / fabrication during integration.
• Provide support during internal testing and customer FAT.
• Role and Responsibility :
• Prepare key documents like P&I Diagram, System Architecture, Design Basis, Shelter / Rack GA drawing etc.
• Prepare detail engineering documents – Cable schedule, Junction box wiring, Instrument hookup drawing, IO list, Instrument list, utility consumption etc.
• Review and approve Panel layout and Panel wiring drawing.
• Perform calculation – Flow meter sizing, Control valve sizing, Thermowell stress calculation, sample lag time calculation etc.
• Prepare Datasheet of flowmeter, sampling system, control valve, transmitters, gauges, flow computer, junction box, power distribution box etc.
• Prepare the Functional design specification, FAT / SAT Procedure, operation manual etc.
• Participate in 3D model review, HAZOP / HAZID study.
