Overview
As an HR Executive at OMG Malaysia, you will gain practical experience and develop essential skills in the field of Human Resources. You will support the HR team in various activities, including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, and employee engagement. This role is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of HR operations and prepare you for a successful career in Human Resources.
Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Craft and redesign job descriptions and post job ads on job portals
- Liaise with hiring managers on job requirements to gather job brief and obtain approval on each hiring request
- Source, screen and identify potential candidates for different departments & functions
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with potential candidates for hiring managers
- Conduct thorough reference checks to verify candidates\' employment history, skills, and qualifications
- Extend offers to candidates and explain in detail the offer package and job expectations
HR Administration & Operations
Prepare letters of offers and employment contracts for new joinersPrepare new hire poster and blast welcome emailsRetrieve required documentation from new hires prior to their joiningMaintain the master list of all employees and update respective departments on new hires\' expected joining dates; upload information into the systemExtend 100-Days Plan to new employees to ensure a clear understanding of initial objectives and goalsManage and oversee the buddy system to pair new employees with experienced team members for onboardingAssist with HR induction processes to ensure effective onboardingManage NAM card / name card processes to ensure confirmed employees receive NFC name cardsMaintain personnel-related files and records such as P-files and timesheetsAssist in onboarding new hires and off-boarding / clearance for resignations, including exit interviewsPerform other ad-hoc administration duties as requiredEmployee Engagement
Oversee OMGEMS planning of company events and activities, ensuring plans run according to scheduleAssist in planning and organizing corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiativesOversee and manage corporate discount programs, ensuring employees are informed and can access available benefitsGeneral HR Support
Support the HR team with day-to-day administrative tasks and projects as neededAssist with ad-hoc HR initiatives and activitiesQualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related fieldStrong interest in Human Resources and a desire to learn and grow in the fieldExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to handle confidential information with discretion#J-18808-Ljbffr
