Job Overview
To provide best in class technical drawings supporting the construction of Clarks branded environments – globally.
Responsibilities
- Deploy best in class CAD techniques and presentation skill sets across both 2D and 3D forms. Use to create visual representations of store environments, with scaled construction details underpinning build.
- Undertake measured buildings surveys, using results to create feasibility, design intent & detailed design CAD packages.
- Ability to integrate architectural and technical considerations into feasible retail environment design solutions that align with our global brand standards.
- Prepare outline feasibility and design intent packages for purposes of identifying and appraising individual project potential of every square meter. Do so through translation of area space measurements and application of layout principles, construction principles and operational store requirements.
- Responsible for management & maintenance of all design software, ensuring design packs remain informative, highly presentable and fit for purpose.
- Create conceptual images, drawings, and guides to present to key stakeholders throughout the business.
- Work closely with third party suppliers to arrange fixture quotations, establish lead times, and arrange deliveries for international franchise partners.
- Highly proficient CAD drafting and presentation skills enabling clear appraisal of design proposals and accurate translation of build requirements and details.
- Undertaking of measured building surveys, ensuring highly accurate and well documented reports.
- Create feasibility design packages, incorporating concept layout principles, standard construction principles and operational store requirements, enabling highly efficient use of space.
- Create highly detailed project design packs, incorporating third party designs and technical details fit for tender purposes & construction.
- Fixtures and fittings component scheduling, to facilitate budget & quotation management
- Ensure the live project tracking document is kept up to date and circulated to all relevant parties.
- Clear, informative concept documents that can be shared and easily understood across the business, enabling key decision making.
- Maintain relationships with global franchise stakeholders, managing and facilitating arrangement of fixtures and fittings as required.
- Accountable for the effective management and development of a direct report through regular guidance, feedback and support.
Qualifications
