As the Business Solution Manager, you will lead a team of Business Analysts and Specialists to deliver comprehensive digital transformation projects across industries – including manufacturing, smart logistics (OTWB), digital marketing, and palm oil. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle – from pre‑sales engagement to post‑implementation optimization – ensuring that every solution is business‑driven, technically sound, and operationally valuable. This role combines strategic vision and hands‑on leadership, managing requirement definition, solution documentation, client communication, and internal coordination to ensure clarity, quality, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of solution proposals, technical documents, and presentation materials (PPT).
Collaborate with sales teams to conduct client research, workshops, and requirement discovery sessions.
Prepare technical specifications, cost estimates, demo scripts, and project execution plans.
Support RFP responses and tender technical documentation, ensuring competitive, compliant submissions.
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
Conduct stakeholder interviews, site visits (factory floors), and workshops to capture business and system requirements.
Translate operational pain points into clear functional and non‑functional requirements.
Map AS‑IS / TO‑BE business processes and workflows (OEE, downtime, traceability, quality).
Perform gap analysis and feasibility studies to support solution design and system enhancement.
Solution Design & Documentation
Develop user stories, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications guiding software development.
Prepare and maintain key project artifacts – BRD, FRS, SOW, UAT test cases – ensuring version control and sign‑off.
Ensure templates and documentation standards are followed; improve them when needed.
Validate solution design and coordinate with architects and developers to ensure technical feasibility.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Developers to align requirements with project goals.
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and feedback sessions to refine requirements and improve user experience.
Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring mutual understanding of objectives, timelines, and constraints.
Communicate clearly and escape blockers proactively and constructively.
UAT & Delivery Supporting
Guiding the function consulting specialist for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts with end users.
Review test cases, validate solutions against acceptance criteria, and ensure systems meet performance KPIs.
Oversee go‑live readiness, change management, and knowledge transfer.
Manage UAT issue resolution with development and QA teams.
Post‑Implementation Phase
Collect and analyse customer feedback and system usage data to drive improvement.
Measure adoption and effectiveness against target KPIs and ROI metrics.
Identify enhancement or module upgrade opportunities, and support conversion into follow‑up projects.
Document lessons learned and contribute to refining best practices, templates, and internal frameworks.
Lead and mentor 4–6 team members (Senior and Junior Specialists), ensuring professional growth and consistent quality output.
Review key deliverables, ensuring documentation completeness and accuracy.
Support internal methodology, training, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
5–8 years of experience in Business Analysis or Solution Consulting for manufacturing, ERP, MES, or IIoT solutions.
Proven ability to lead solution design, documentation, and delivery through pre‑sales and execution stages.
Experience with shop‑floor systems such as PLC, SCADA, Historian, and ERP integration.
Knowledge of OEE, MTTR, Lean, Six Sigma, or ISO 9001 frameworks.
Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills, with ability to bridge technical and business domains.
Proficiency in Confluence, Jira, Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent tools.
Sound understanding of SDLC, Agile (Scrum / Kanban), and end‑to‑end product delivery processes.
Added Advantages
Familiarity with APIs, data structures, and modern architectures (microservices, cloud‑native).
Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI‑PBA, or Scrum Master.
Experience conducting data analysis and creating KPI dashboards or reports to support decision‑making.
