Job descriptionDevelop and maintain the annual budgeting process. Prepare financial forecasts and variance analysis reports. Assist in long‑term financial planning and strategy development. Provide training and support to new hires. Develop training programs to enhance the skills of new hires and junior staff. Assist in supervising and training of staff, and ensuring team performance meets hospital standards. Monitor and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Update and enforce internal control policies and procedures. Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits. Prepare necessary documentation and respond to audit inquiries. Implement audit recommendations to improve processes. Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and receipts. Ensure timely and accurate settlement of payables and receivables. Maintain relationships with vendors and clients to manage payment terms and disputes. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Reconcile subsidiary accounts by verifying and allocating transactions. Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of all accounts. Prepare and submit monthly or annual tax filings including corporate income tax (Form C, CP204, CP204A), service tax, e‑invoices. Review tax computation, deferred tax and tax provisions. Monitor and ensure compliance with Income Tax Act 1967 and other relevant tax regulations. Liaise with LHDN, external tax consultant and auditors. Assist with tax planning initiatives and support. Generate detailed financial reports for management, including variance analysis and performance metrics. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data. Conduct monthly financial reviews to assess financial performance. Present findings and financial status to management. Financial Management
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the company's accounting system.
- Maintain updated records of accounts payable and receivable.
- Handle general ledger entries, and perform month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and maintain a full set of accounts; monitor reconciliation of receivables, payables and bank balances and ensure monthly closing by stipulated deadlines.
- Ensure financial statements comply with the company’s policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
