Cloud Solution Architect

About the role

VSTECS Ku Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative cloud‑based solutions that drive business success. This is a crucial role that will have a strategic impact on the company's cloud infrastructure and services business. The position is based in Kota Damansara, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

• Design secure, scalable, and cost‑optimized AWS architectures for AI and cloud workloads.
• Lead solution design workshops with customers and internal teams.
• Provide technical leadership for AI / ML and generative AI initiatives.
• Build end‑to‑end solutions using Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, and other AI services.
• Define RAG architectures with vector databases and knowledge retrieval.
• Integrate AWS services like EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway into solution designs.
• Develop architecture blueprints, HLDs, and LLDs for projects.
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards are embedded in designs.
• Work with stakeholders to map business requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct POCs to validate AI services and platform designs.
• Guide customers on best practices, scalability, and modernization strategies.
• Support pre‑sales activities, including RFPs, proposals, and technical presentations.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth implementation and handover.
• Mentor team members and contribute to building internal AWS solution capabilities.
