Able to handle full sets of accounts including AP, AR, Fixed Asset and GL.
Prepare monthly closing and financial reports independently under minimum supervision.
Manage various aspect of month end closing activities.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare monthly cashflow forecast and monitoring of cashflow activities.
Reconciling monthly bank statements.
Reconciling Accounts Payable monthly statement of accounts.
Prepare payment and collections.
Verify and process payment for staff monthly expenses claim.
Update and maintain fixed asset schedule, asset tagging, etc.
Update and maintain small value asset schedule and asset tagging.
Facilitate and conduct mid-year and year end Fixed Asset count activity.
Reconcile the discrepancy of intercompany transactions and balances.
Analyse and reconcile various of reports in SAP B1 system when necessary.
Liaise with HQ and external parties for work related matters.
Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies & procedures.
Assist in creating OA reporting & payment template, process flow and co-ordinate with HQ IT department for uploading into OA system.
Recommending SOP to ensure proper accounting records and filling systems.
To ensure all accounting activities comply with relevant statutory Acts, accounting standards, legal and tax requirements.
Actively engagement with HQ Finance and IT department on SAP module, reporting and template enhancement.
Assist and prepare in auditing and tax matters.
Prepare capital allowance and capital expenditure computation for consolidation into periodic corporate tax estimation report.
Liaise with bankers on application, withdrawal and renewal of banker’ acceptance.
Provide advice on standardization / improvement of operation processes and procedures while compliance with regulatory.
To undertake ad-hoc assignments or duties assigned by management when required.
Requirements
Candidate must process at least Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / professional Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Banking, or equivalent.
Required skill : Hands-on with accounting software (SAP B1), good Microsoft application knowledge (Microsoft excel & word).
At least 5 Year(s) and above working experience in full sets of accounts in Manufacturing environment.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Finance - Audit / Taxation or equivalent.
Proactive self-starter with an analytical and creative mind
Excellent communication skills in English & Mandarin (Ability to speak & write in Chinese will be an added advantage due to the business nature needed).
Ability to establish priorities, independent, multi-tasking, able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and work as a team player.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
