The Kijang Graduate Programme (KGP) offers three tracks designed to give you a broad understanding of central banking and to develop skills across Bank Negara Malaysia’s key operational areas. The 18‑month rotation cycle provides exposure to monetary policy, financial stability, corporate management, supervision, and digital technology.
Tracks Overview
- Graduate Analyst (General Track) – Rotates through the Monetary Stability, Financial Stability, and Corporate Management sectors to understand policy implementation, financial risk oversight, and operational effectiveness.
- Supervision Graduate Analyst (Supervision Track) – Focuses on risk assessment and supervisory functions across banking, insurance, and technology sectors to support financial stability and regulatory prudency.
- Digital Graduate Analyst (Digital Track) – Delivers in‑depth experience in digital strategy, IT risk, and data science across three digital and technology departments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop sector‑specific knowledge in monetary policy, financial stability, supervision, or digital technology.Participate in policy formulation, compliance review, and risk assessment activities.Collaborate with industry leaders and internal stakeholders to shape Bank Negara Malaysia’s strategic direction.Apply analytical and communication skills to support regulatory oversight and operational improvement.Entry Requirements
Malaysian citizen.Academic Qualification – Undergraduate or Master’s degree with a second‑class upper (2 : 1) or CGPA of 3.5 / 4 or a WAM of 75% in any discipline.Professional Accountancy Qualification – Average score of 65 or higher across all papers with minimal resits, final results by 1 April or 1 September, and less than one year of full‑time experience post‑graduation.Benefits & Development
