Job Description Summary

The Process Engineer – Machining will manage and lead all technical and operational activities related to machining equipment, industrialization, and programming in the Port Klang shop. The role reports to the Process Engineering Manager.

Essential Responsibilities

• Machining : Turning, milling, grinding, drilling, EDM. Serve as a technical reference for all machining processes.
• Programming : Write, modify, and optimize CNC programs for complex parts.
• Define engineering specifications for purchasing equipment, following repair engineering routings.
• Technical selection of farm‑out companies to support business continuity and manage load peaks.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of machining processes, inspections, maintenance, programming changes, and operation procedures.
• Industrialization of NTI : Pre‑setting, CAD / CAM software, tooling manufacturing, process quality engineering.
• Quality Control : Perform inspections and measurements to ensure part quality and specifications.
• Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve CNC operation, tooling, and program issues.
• Collaboration : Work closely with engineering and production teams to integrate CNC machining into overall workflow.
• Continuous Improvement : Participate in initiatives to enhance machining accuracy, efficiency, and quality.
