Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Accountant based in Melaka, Malaysia, with the flexibility to work from home on occasion. The primary responsibilities include managing and overseeing accounting operations, preparing financial records and reports, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Accountant will also play a role in budget preparation and financial forecasting. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making is a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Financial Analysis
• Proficiency in Accounting Software, Excel, and other financial tools
• Knowledge of Taxation, Compliance, and Regulatory Standards
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within teams
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are an advantage
• Previous experience in the manufacturing or machinery industry is a plus
