Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Guest Services Center Agent – Reservations to join our Reservation team. This role focuses on prompt answering of all incoming calls, directing calls to the appropriate extension, and ensuring accurate correspondence regarding accommodation reservations.
About The Job
This position is based at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur within the Reservation Department. The Guest Services Center Agent reports to the Guest Services Center Manager and maintains high service quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Handle telephone reservations adhering strictly to the company’s LQE and audit requirements.
- Enter reservation details accurately into the PMS booking system in line with the operational manual.
- Maintain high scores on all related audits (e.g., RESMAX Mystery Caller, MOQA, FORBES, FLHSS, IMS).
- Implement best practices for revenue strategy and yield management as directed by the Revenue Department.
- Communicate effectively with other departments, notably Credit, Sales, Concierge, and Front Desk.
Qualifications and Attributes
Minimum SPM qualification; a Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.Minimum 1 year of working experience in a similar capacity, preferably within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.Proficient computer operations with strong typing and data entry abilities.Quick learner capable of managing Property Management Systems (PMS) and Extranet systems efficiently.Demonstrated ability to handle high volumes of emails, online bookings, and guest calls with accuracy and composure.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a collaborative spirit and guest‑focused approach.Benefits
