Responsibilities
- Follow proprietary formulations to compound commercially unavailable prescriptions into appropriate dosage form.
- Routinely check expiry of compounding ingredients.
- Properly use all equipment in the laboratory that is necessary to make the compound in a clean work environment.
- Ensure the lab and related equipment are cleaned and maintained according to our standard operating procedures.
- Calibration and proper documentation of scales, electronic meters etc.
- Follow all safety guidelines for preparation of compounded medications.
- assist in monthly stock take of compounding ingredients.
