Senior Drafter II

Responsibilities

Experience in preparing and updating detailed drawings following designer redline markups and instructions. Qualifications

Diploma or technical certification in Engineering or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in drafting, preferably in the oil, gas, and energy sectors. Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other relevant drafting tools. Basic knowledge in 3D software (e.g. E3D, SP3D etc.) is an advantage. Basic understanding of developing instrument drawings such as loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, instrument layouts, and cable schedules. Basic understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and the ability to produce minor markup drawings based on P&IDs. Strong understanding of Quality Management System per ISO 9001 and familiarity with work procedures and filing systems used in the oil and gas industry. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work. Effective time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Good communication skills, with the ability to understand and follow instructions from designers and engineers. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia for writing and verbal communication. Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance in all drafting work.
