Senior Account

Permodalan Kedah Berhad, a leading investment holding company, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Alor Setar, Kedah. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in our Financial Accounting & Reporting operations, contributing to the company's financial stability and overall success.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and other accounting functions
• Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and other financial reports
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Provide financial advice and support to management on strategic decision-making
• Mentor and train junior members of the accounting team, sharing your expertise and best practices
