Responsibilities

Make an impact

  • Manage the global network security infrastructure (WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewall, Proxy, Load balancing and other networking components).
  • Monitor and maintain the global network security infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Plan and execute upgrades and updates to keep systems up to date and secure.
  • Implement network security measures to protect data and systems.
  • Automate recurring tasks in the area of the Network Security team.
  • Maintain documentation of the network security infrastructure.
  • Process Incoming service requests and incidents as part of the daily operation.
  • Stay updated with the latest network security technologies and best practices.

Application Requirements

What you need to succeed

  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Relevant Network certifications or equivalent experience (e.g. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Good knowledge of network, communication and security protocol, technologies, and standards (including TCP / IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs and VPNs)
  • Experience with corporate network environments including outing and switching (Cisco / Cloud), wireless (Cisco), security (Zscaler / Checkpoint / Fortinet), monitoring (CheckMK), documentation (Netbox / AzureDevOps)
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation is a clear plus (eg, Python, Ansible)
  • Understanding of cloud networking is a clear plus (eg, AWS, Azure)
  • Good written and verbal communication in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
